Another year comes to a close as 2026 begins! 2025 has been an especially interesting year for Minecraft – it was the first of entirely "game drops" and no major update, and A Minecraft Movie finally released. Through it all we editors have been hard at work documenting all the features and happenings on the Minecraft Wiki, and an incredible amount of readers have been checking it out. Read on to find out exactly what has changed with the wiki throughout the year.
Traffic statistics
The Minecraft Wiki had more than 330 million views for the year, with our biggest peaks in traffic coming in March–April and December. The first was clearly caused by the combination of Minecraft Live, Spring to Life releasing, and A Minecraft Movie, a busy time for the series. The second seems to have been a gradual rise in excitement for Mounts of Mayhem ending off in a great peak.

It’s been an active year for the wonderful editors keeping our wiki updated! We’ve been consistently sitting between one and two thousand edits per day through almost the whole year with the activity spikes sitting around major Minecraft events. Though unlike our readers which are most active around the official release of updates, our editors are most active during the snapshot releases of previews.
Thank you!
It's been a fun and successful year for us editors, and we hope you've enjoyed your time reading the wiki to check out new features or remember how to brew a specific potion. Remember that transitioning from reader to editor is as simple as clicking the edit button and being bold, and we'd love to have you help us out!
If you want to get involved with the wikis, there's always work to do and new projects are being started all the time. If you haven't edited before and aren't sure where to start, join our Discord server or follow us on Bluesky, Mastodon, and Twitter.
